That’s the official number of how many bugs and implementations are left to tackle in Grimoire.

Dad (Cleve) is currently working on inserting ambient environmental effects into the game. Water dropplets falling into pools, monster eyes seen in the darkness. It’s cool.

We’ve been discussing which platform is best for initial publication. GOG is winning so far.

About grimdarkly

Name's Cooper. I'm an Advertising student, and I'm also a devout Christian that despises dishonesty. See the cognitive dissonance? I enjoy placing words in interesting formations. If not an advertising copywriter, I am certain I will find another word-based career. I enjoy playing DOTA 2, doing Christian stuff, not exercising, and designing adventures for my friends as a D&D Dungeon Master. Evidently, I'm also good at quickly coming up with "raps". Quality of said raps is debatable.

Fucking ridiculous how far this has been pushed back… And your dad sucks at updating his backers

  2. Also can you have Cleve annoince when Daredevil Donut Lad 2: Glazed and Confused is coming out? Thanks again Cooper you guys rule.

  3. We wait for golden ambience )

That Grimoire is something that a Father and his Son can share in some way bodes well for humanity.
Put another shrimp on the barbi, fuel up the gas lamps and let the code flow.

Thanks for update Cooper and, vicariously, Cleveland.

Doubters gonna doubt – but gold never loses it’s value.

  4. You should drive a hard bargain. Whether it is Steam or GoG, the winner should be the one that posts the game on the front page of their site with the caption ITZ HERE for at least one whole weekend.

Can’t wait for the next demo and third pledge drive

    • Hi Cooper,

Could you talk to Cleve about adding Steam achievements and Steam trading cards to Grimoire. I think it would be a big hit with the causal crowd to get them in the door to see what a real game looks like and a nice treat for the loyal and faithful. After Cleve has killed the last bugs, maybe he can look at it.

      • If there ever was a game complex and expansive enough to deserve achievements, it is Grimoire. I definitely think these would be implemented into the game at some point. Probably post-launch. As for the trading cards, I doubt we would ever stick those in. The game would have to become overwhelmingly popular for Cleve to make significant changes/upgrades/add-ons after release.

      • From what I heard with Steam trading cards is you just send art assets and info to Valve and they do the rest.

The achievements would be something awesome but probably would be a bit of work. Either way I will support Grimoire no matter what format you guys decide to release it on. I hope to get in the next fundraiser for a physical version.

      • If that’s all that’s entailed, you might see trading cards. I don’t have to tell you how many freakin’ sprites Grimoire has.
