The Grim Blog is Dead

It hasn’t even been a whole week since I started…

I don’t really want to explain why, but it would be unfair to certain people if I didn’t.

Of all the feedback this blog has received so far, I’d say about 97% of it is negative. Really, really mean, negative comments.

I sincerely thank the small group of people who liked this blog and gave support to it. Reading your comments made my day.

Unfortunately, everyone besides you hates Grimoire and anything associated with Grimoire.

They’ve said awful things about it. But don’t take my word for it: see for yourself.

You wouldn’t believe some of the comments I’ve received. I refuse to even allow such vile comments on my site, so I deleted them.

And, I’m going to stop doing this blog.

It’s very discouraging when you work hard on something, that not even really for your benefit, and you receive such hateful remarks.

Once again, I thank the small handful of people who liked this blog and showed support for it. But I can’t continue it just for you guys.

Maybe, every now and then, I’ll put up new pics or a new post, but, much like the “Metronome Mysterium”, the mainspring of this blog has ground to a halt, and now all that’s left is darkness and oblivion.

About grimdarkly

Name's Cooper. I'm an Advertising student, and I'm also a devout Christian that despises dishonesty. See the cognitive dissonance? I enjoy placing words in interesting formations. If not an advertising copywriter, I am certain I will find another word-based career. I enjoy playing DOTA 2, doing Christian stuff, not exercising, and designing adventures for my friends as a D&D Dungeon Master. Evidently, I'm also good at quickly coming up with "raps". Quality of said raps is debatable.

  1. Hail Cooper, son of the legendary Cleveland Mark Blakemore A.K.A. Texas Arcane!

I haven’t played an old school step-RPG with decent blobber turn-based combat with such cool 2D graphics since Wizardry 7, so the announcement of this blog about Grimoire and it being in the final testing stages is very good news to me, congratulations!

As for all the degenerates and the morons more densely packed in one place called “RPG Codex” than anywhere else in the universe to achieve such a critical mass of internet garbage, just IGNORE them…

You have to realize just how much of an internet legend and a supreme troll and counter-troll of the good kind your father is. Cleve has always devastated the “clingy” boring trolls taking a shot at him at the Codex with his wits and unique style, provided endless entertainment with his posts and had earned the admiration of many intelligent posters and ex-posters there.

Needless to say that he had also acquired quite a large following of gibbering lowlife idiots, perverts, druggies and mentally disturbed residents of the Codex whose kind has pretty much always existed there due to the site’s extremely lax moderation policy. Your dad has quite frequently expressed that he was disgusted by the very thought that some of these critters would steal from their mothers purses to actually buy and “try” to play Grimoire with their sub-par intelligence. Most of the posters there are NOT the kind of people you want to please with your product, they’re not really your “target audience”.

A lot of the worst hecklers from that thread are nothing but manboons of all shapes and kinds who got “butthurt” from their past conversations with your father over there about stuff that weren’t even related to RPG’s where he must have hit on their nerves and provoked quite a lot of these cosmic-fail grade losers. The creator of that topic there has got to be some weak 30-something French or Belgian degenerate creep of the effeminate leftist-liberal persuasion who had naturally gotten made fun of by your dad there at some point for being such a “Sissy LePoop” and became Cleve’s creepy little stalker “enemy” ever since. It’s quite pathetic but that’s actually how some of the really crappy super-villains are born, usually destined to serve as comedy-relief & filler-material.

Anyway, Cooper&Cleve, love you guys both, crush all those nasty bugs in Grimoire and just ignore all the bugs crawling out from RPGCodex. Cooper, moderate the comments to this blog obviously coming from the Codex morons, do NOT allow them to even be displayed here and do NOT ever respond to them, they just ain’t worth it. Stop looking at that thread, in fact don’t ever visit there again either. The few decent people somehow still following the Codex and are intelligent RPG connoisseurs will buy the game when the time finally comes after waiting for several millennia and will only comment on here strictly about Grimoire and its development.

Don’t you even think about quitting blogging about Grimoire because of the “comments” from such invalid dillweeds whose “opinions” should be worth less than bovine excrement. All the dumb dilettantes of RPG’s there who would not even be genuinely interested in something like Grimoire, your fathers creepy stalkers, trolls, and all sorts of assorted human garbage from the Codex are not worth your time and consideration. They are annoying mosquitoes to be ignored and eradicated.

Good luck and release the game soon!
